Since 2011: Freelance translator from English into German
2001 until 2011: Translator and project coordinator in the IT field at a translation agency in Cologne
2001: Completion of the „Translation“ diploma at Cologne University of Applied Sciences in the languages English and French, main subject Technology

Membership of professional associations:

BDÜ (Bundesverband der Dolmetscher und Übersetzer e. V.) – Federal Association of Interpreters and Translators

From March 2019 until June 2024 I was Member of the Board of Directors (Thuringia chapter of the BDÜ). Since July 2024 I have been responsible for local networking meetings in the Thuringian area.

Ongoing training

Continuous development is important to me. In recent years I have taken part in various CPD courses/industry events (list is currently being updated).
